Roy Erhardt

Roy Erhardt age 88, died Sunday afternoon 11/6/11 at the Mississippi State Veterans Home in Oxford, MS. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 11/8/11, in Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tim Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Good Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Wells Funeral Home. Mr. Erhardt was born on August 25, 1923 to Rufus Edward & Ruby Jo Deck Erhardt. He worked for International Harvester of Memphis, TN for 31 years. Mr. Erhardt served his country in the United States Navy. He was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. Survivors include his daughter, Paula Erhardt Casner (Ron) of Bradenton, FL, son, Gordon Douglas "Doug" Erhardt (Linda) of Memphis, TN, sister, Lucille Erhardt Lee of Sacramento, CA, 1 Grandson, 2 Great Grandchildren, 5 Step-Grandchildren, 9 Step Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great- Great Grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Clarcie Samples Erhardt.
