Memorial services will be held Tuesday evening, October 25, 2011, at 7:00 P.M. in Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Todd Pittman officiating. Visitation will beginning at 6:00 p.m. Joyce was born May 28, 1951 in Quitman County, MS to Buck and Norma Jean Brewer Fortner. She was a retired LPN for Mehtodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Sneed of Courtland, MS; son, Thomas Lee Sneed, II of Batesville, MS; two sisters, Linda Logan of Collierville, TN, Annette Parker of Batesville, MS; three grandchildren, Forest Levi Sneed, Micah Jake Sneed and Khloe Klaire (BeBe) Sneed. Joyce is also survived by her parents, Buck and Norma Jean Brewer Fortner. Joyce was preceded in death by her daughter, Monica Jannette Sneed in 1995.
