Peggy Nell Cook Wright age 66, wife of Donald Wright, Sr., died Tuesday afternoon 9/27/11 at her home in Batesville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, 9/29/11, at Sardis Lake Baptist Church, Sardis, MS with Reverend Kevin Crofford officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday and continue until service time. Interment will follow in Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery, Batesville, MS. Mrs. Wright was born on November 30, 1944 to William Harold & Myrtle Medlin Cook. She was a faithful member of Sardis Lake Baptist Church. Peggy worked for 33 years at Chromcraft Industries in Senatobia, MS. She is survived by her husband, Donald H. Wright, Sr. of Batesville, MS, 2 daughters, Linda Wright Murphree (Scootie) of Batesville and Brenda Wright Beard (Ricky) of Batesville, MS, 2 sons, Kenny Wright (Susan) of Brandon, MS and Donald Wright, Jr. of Batesville, MS, 1 sister, Linda Bryant of Batesville, MS, 2 brothers, Bobby Cook and Larry Cook, both of Batesville, MS, 3 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Cook. The family requests that memorials be sent to Save-A-Life Foundation, P.O. Box 932, Batesville, MS 38606.
