Click Here To View Video Memorial TributeClaudia Mae Robertson, age 79, of Sardis, MS, passed away Sunday afternoon, September 4, 2011 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Longtown Cemetery in Crenshaw, MS. Visitation will begin two hours prior to the services at 12 Noon. Reverend Sonny Smith will be officiating. Mrs. Robertson was born November 25, 1931 in Cullman, AL to the late John Wesley and Bobbie Eunice Dale Farr. She was a homemaker and member of New Hope Baptist Church in Como, MS. Mrs. Robertson spent her whole life caring for her loving husband and family. Over the years, she cared for her mother-in-law and all children she came in contact with in her life. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Grady C. Robertson, Sr. of Sardis, MS; daughter, Eunice Robertson Herron (Bob) of Batesville, MS; three sons, Grady C. Robertson, Jr. of Dixon, TN, Michael Robertson of Senatobia, MS, David Robertson of Senatobia, MS; four sisters, Katherine Oaks of Edgewater, FL, Bobbie Mondy of Hendersonville, TN, Betty Kell-Etheridge of Hendersonville, TN, Laura Oaks of San Marcos, TX; brother, Ed Oaks of Copperas Cove, TX; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
