Click Here To View Video Memorial TributeArmando Reyes-Juarez, age 20, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Tri-Lakes Medical Center in Batesville, MS from injuries received in an auto accident. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the Veterans Section of Forrest Memorial Park with full military honors. Reverend Jay Anderson will be officiating the services. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, 8/30/2011, from 5:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Wells Funeral Home. Armando was born May 16, 1991 in Grenville, MS to Karen Dowdle Jenkins and Jose Luis Reyes-Juarez. Armando was a Baptist. He enlisted in the U.S. Army National Guard in 2008 and since then has served a tour in Iraq from 2009 to 2010 with U.S. Army 155th Brigade in Tupelo, MS and was scheduled to return for another one year tour in January of 2012. While state side, Armando was stationed with Co. E 2/198th CAB of the National Guard in Clarksdale, MS. In the time Armando spent not with the National Guard, he worked for his grandfather as a farmer. Armando is survived by his parents, Brad and Karen Dowdle Jenkins of Courtland, MS; father, Jose Luis Reyes-Juarez of Pearl, MS; sister, Misty Jenkins of Courtland, MS; brother, Miguel Reyes-Juarez of Courtland, MS; maternal grandparents, James and Nancy Dowdle of Courtland, MS, Glenn and Lisa Ladner of Picayne, MS; paternal grandparents, Charles Ray and Joyce Jenkins of Greenville, MS and his maternal great-grandmother, Betty Bell of Grenada, MS.
