Mary Ruth Scroggins McGregor, age 71, widow of Donald Ray McGregor, Sr., died Wednesday afternoon 8/24/11 at her home in Batesville, Mississippi. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Friday morning 8/26/11 at Forrest Memorial Park. There will be no visitation prior to service. Mrs. McGregor was born November 11, 1939 in Byhalia, Mississippi to Wilson & Pauline Hallmark Scroggins. Mary was a homemaker and a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church. Survivors are 2 Daughters: Tammy Russell Jenkins and Kathy McGregor Hoffman- Batesville, Ms.; son: Robert Wright- Batesville, Ms.; Sister: Peggy Scroggins and Brother: Sonny Scroggins- Byhalia, Ms. 9 Grandchildren & 12 Great-Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by Husband: Donald Ray McGregor, Sr. Son: Donald Ray McGregor, Jr.; Parents: Wilson & Pauline Hallmark Scroggins; 2 Sisters: Kathleen Scroggins King & Judy Scroggins; Brother: Jessie Scroggins.
