Dorothy Sellers Jones

Dorothy Mae Jones, age 82, widow of David Raymond Jones, died Thursday evening, 8/18/11, at Baptist Memorial Desoto Hospital in Southaven, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, 8/21/11, at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, Sardis, MS with Reverend Kenny White officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday evening from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the church and again from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. Mrs. Jones was born on May 2, 1929 in Crenshaw, MS to Vester Miles and Alice Valeria Lewis Sellers. She a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. Mrs. Jones was retired from Outboard Marine Corporation in Sardis, MS. Survivors include her sister, Clair Sellers Hooper of Olive Branch, MS; brother, Clyde Sellers of Crenshaw, MS; 2 Grandchildren, Jason Allen of Hernando, MS and Tom Allen of Senatobia, MS; Great Granddaughter, Dori Ann Allen of Camden, AR; Son-in-Law, Bob E. Allen, Jr., of Senatobia, MS. The family asks that memorials be sent to Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church or Church Cemetery, Hwy 315 West, Sardis, MS 38666.
