Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday morning, August 17, 2011 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Longtown Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. Tuesday evening. Lawrence was born March 17, 1935 in Sarah, MS to the late Leon Wright and Mary Pauline Welch Wright Holliday. He was the owner of Wright's Service Station in Crenshaw, MS and was a member of Askew Baptist Church. Lawrence is survived by his two daughters, Pamela Wright Tidwell of Batesville, MS, Machelle Wright Barlow of Sarah, MS; son, Jeffery Wright of Senatobia, MS; sister, Martha Wright Chapman of Southaven, MS; brother, William "Buddy" Wright of Senatobia, MS; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
