Raymond R. Miller

Raymond R. Miller age 69, of Oakland, MS died Thursday evening 8/11/11 at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, 8/13/11, at Enid Lake Baptist Church, with Reverend Lester Tankersley presiding. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Clarksdale, MS. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday morning. Mr. Miller was born to Leroy Percy and Linda Virginia Martin Miller in Randolph, MS on Feb. 14, 1942. He was a truck driver for Graeber Brothers for 32 years and also he served in the United States Air Force. He was a member of Enid Lake Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Irma Kay Smith Miller. They were married on May 18, 1960 in Marks, MS. Other survivors include his daughter, Donna Lynn Miller Willard of Clarksdale; 2 sisters, Reba Miller Biehslick of Fulton, KY, Doris Miller Bayless of Pensacola, FL; 2 brothers, Ralph Miller of Batesville, AR, Billy Miller of Coyners, GA, Granddaughter, Misty L. Bright of West Helena, AR, Grandson, Dylan Willard of Clarksdale, MS, Great-Granddaughter, Jadyn Bright of West Helena, AR. Pallbearers will be L.M. Collins, Billy Chamberlee, Andy Martin, Timmy Martin, Ronnie Tacket and Floyd Fisk.
