Wayne Austin McMullen 68 years old, of Sardis, MS died on Monday, July 25, 2011. Funeral will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 29, 2011 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Forrest Memorial Park. Reverend Gerald Walker will be officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 8:00 A.M. Friday at Wells Funeral Home. Wayne was born September 8, 1942 in Memphis, TN to the late William Austin and Claudia Beatrice Jordon McMullen. Wayne was a retired sub-contractor for 48 years. He is survived by his two sons, Samuel Clint McMullen of Sardis, MS and Jason Wayne McMullen of Guyton, GA; fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
