Friday, July 15, 2011 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel in Batesville, MS. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M.. Reverend Kevin Crofford will be officiating. Wayne was born February 14, 1959 in Memphis, TN to Wayne B. and Etheline Hicks Houston. Wayne was a retired textile plant manager and also had a love for fishing. Mr. Houston is survived by his fiance', Jayne McLauren of Australia; daughter, Heather E. Houston of Sardis, MS; parents, Wayne B. and Etheline Hicks Houston; two sisters, Sherrye Houston Hawks of Olive Branch, MS, Carolyn Houston Silman of Houlka, MS; brother, David Wayne Houston; granddaughter, Avery G. Mitchell of Sardis, MS; niece, Lauren Hawks Abernathy and nephews, Matthew Wayne Houston and John Henry Turner.  Wayne was preceded in death by a nephew, Chase Houston Hawks.
