Click here to view Video Tribute Memorial Richard W. McDonald, age 81, widower of Betty McDonald, passed away Sunday morning at Baptist Memorial Hospital of North MS in Oxford, MS. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 24, 2011 at Wells Funeral Home. Mr. McDonald was born on October 14, 1929 in St. Louis, MO to Everette Franklin & Helen Margaret Jaccard McDonald. He was an accountant for Carrom Industries where he served as a division director. Mr. McDonald served his country in the United States Marine Navy and then went on to serve in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. Mr. McDonald is survived by 3 daughters Mary Beth McDonald of Senatobia, MS, Sally McDonald Wilkie (Bob) of Sardis, MS, Susan McDonald Stein of St. Louis, MO; 2 Sons, Robert "Bob" McDonald of St. Louis, MO, Daniel McDonald of Alexandria, LA; 4 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.
