Violet Swindoll Fields

Violet Marie Swindoll Fields, age 88, passed away at Carrington Nursing Home in Starkville, MS on Monday morning, 4/18/11. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Sumner, MS. Mrs. Fields was born on August 8, 1922 to Barney Lee & Lorene Guest Swindoll in Walthall, MS. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Starkville, MS. Mrs. Fields is survived by one daughter, Belinda (Tommy) McDaniel of Starkville, MS, two sons, Bobby Fields of Sumner, MS and Hilton (Betty Gayle) Fields of New Iberia, LA, one sister, Juanita Williams of Everman, TX, three brothers, Floyd (Margaret) Swindoll of Tutwiller, MS, Tom (Eloise) Swindoll and Gerald (Debra) Swindoll both of Hernando, MS, 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces & nephews.
