Click Here To View Video Memorial TributeRuby Jean Tiner White age 76, widow of Clifford Bailey Tiner and James Norman White, died Tuesday morning 3/29/11 at her daughters home in Courtland, Ms.. Services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Forrest Memorial Park. Dr. Tommy Snyder of First Baptist Church will be officiating. The family will be receiving friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Wells Funeral Home. Mrs. White was born June 11, 1934 in Calhoun County, MS to the late Edward and Elizabeth Hardin Melton. She was a member of Enid Lake Baptist Church and the Fellowship Sunday School Class of the First Baptist Church of Batesville, MS and was also a retired factory worker. Mrs. Ruby is survived by three daughters, Patty Tiner Daugherty of Courtland, MS, Daile Tiner Johnson of Courtland, MS, Kathleen Tiner Fortner of Courtland, MS, Patricia Tiner of Courtland, MS; two sons, Randy Tiner of Courtland, MS, Tom Tiner of Enid, MS; sister Mattie Bland of Batesville, MS; brother Wayne Melton of Enid, MS; 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, U.V Dye and Bessie Smith; six brothers, J.C. Melton, L.B. Melton, Ben Melton, Q.T. Melton, Jessie Melton and Quinton Melton.
