Eddie E. Hensley

Eddie E. "Gene" Hensley age 78, died March 19, 2011 at Tallahatchie General Hospital in Charleston, MS. Funeral services will be 4:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 22, 2001 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Wilcutt officiating. Interment to folow in Forrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. Tuesday until service time. Mr. Hensley was born October 8, 1932 in Ashland, MS to the late Rufus & Ollie Albertson Hensley. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and was a musician. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jewel, Lacey, James & Wayne Hensley. Survivors include his companion, Phyllis Byrd of Courtland, MS; daughter, Rhonda Allen of Norman, OK; son, Steve Hensley of Paragould, AR; sister, Pearline Bailey of Memphis, TN; brothers, Frank Hensley of Richmond, TX; Thomas Hensley of Memphis, TN; and 2 Grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Kris Beavers, Mike Perry, Larry "Elbo" Shearon, Jr., Danny Beavers, Jeremy Byrd, and Richard Byrd.
