Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, March 20, 2011 at Oakland Methodist Church with Rev. Clay Baker and Rev. Martin Case officiating. Interment to follow at Enid Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Wells Funeral Home. Mrs. Toole was born September 13, 1913 in Oakland, MS to the late Ruth Hunt McCullar and Garner Fount McCullar. She was married to James Algernon Toole for 47 years. He preceded her in death in 1979. Mrs. Toole was a retired U.S. Postal Clerk in Enid, MS, a member of Oakland Methodist Church where she attended Bible Study. She taught Sunday School for many years at Enid Union Church. She was an active member of Enid Home Demonstration Club and a substitute teacher. She was an avid birdwatcher and enjoyed writing poetry. She was preceded in death by one brother, Ray McCullar and sisters, Virginia Jo McCullar, Margaret M. Anderson and Martha Ruth M. Therrell, two grandsons, Joey Toole and Michael Toole. Survivors include four sons, James I. Toole (Leware) of Decatur, TX; Robert Lee Toole (Donnie) of Scobey, MS; Terry Hunt Toole (Lou) of Grenada, MS; Joe Melvin Toole (Lottie) of Enid, MS; and two daughters, Betty Jane T. Matthews (Travis) of Enid, MS; and Carolyn T. Via (Jimmy) of Cleveland, MS; brother, Garner Fount McCullar, Jr. of Oxford, MS; 14 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren. Any one wishing to send memorials, the family requests that they be sent to Enid Oak Hill Cemetery Fund, 92 Enid Teasdale Road, Enid, MS 38927. Pallbearers will be Mark Toole, John Toole, Hunt Toole, Lee Toole, Charles Toole, Blake Toole, Shannon Vernon and Raymond Toole.
