Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday 3/17/2011 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jay Anderson and Reverend Johnny Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Forrest Memorial Park with full military honors. Visitation will be Wednesday 3/16/11 from 5-8 pm at Wells Funeral Home. Mr. Hagood was born May 15, 1946 to Earl Clement and Catheline Sartain Hagood in Oakman, Al.. Jimmy was a truck driver for New Century Production of Allentown, Pa.. Mr. Hagood was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church of Pope, Ms.. Jimmy served his country in the United States Navy. Survivors are his wife Glenda Lawson Hagood- Pope, Ms.; 4 Daughters: Melissa Hagood May- Hamilton, Al.; Sherry Hagood Treece- Perry, Ok.; Belinda Hagood Yarbrough- Carrollton, Al.; Rita Hagood McCrory- Perry, OK; 2 Step-Daughters: Monica Carroll- Ozark, AL; Stephanie Chambley- Winona, Ms.; 3 Step-Sons: Jamie Tedford, Bradley Tedford and Byron Tedford all of Batesville, Ms.; Sister: Carolyn Sue Hagood Skaggs- Haleyville, Al.; 3 Brothers: Gary Wayne Hagood, Edward Allen Hagood and Roy Milford all of Haleyville, Al.. 16 Grandchildren Mr. Hagood is preceded in death by his parents Earl and Catheline Hagood; 2 Sisters: Mary Katherine Dockins and Janice Marie Hill. Pallbearers will be Byron Tedford, Brad Tedford, Shane Harrolson, David Gammell, Jeremy Denley and Elbert Ray. Honorary: Jimmy Sellers, Billie Smith, Frank Snider and Bobby Hill.
