Click Here To View Video Memorial TributeRay Howard Leslie, Sr., age 48, passed away at his home in Enid, MS Tuesday afternoon, March 8, 2011. Ray is the husband of Terry Rogers Leslie. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March, 12, 2011 at Wells Funeral Home with Bro. Marty Evans officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Enid, MS. Visitation will be Saturday from 12-2:00 PM prior to the service at Wells Funeral Home. Ray was born May 12, 1962 in Marks, MS to the late William Vester and Doris Irwin Leslie. He moved to Oregon at a very young age before moving back to Missippippi. Ray was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and worked for 27 years at America General Construction Company. Ray's family and children were the love of his life and his grandchildren were the delight of his life. He also loved to hunt, fish and work in his yard. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Charlotte Ward and brother David Leslie. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Terry Leslie of Enid, MS; sons, Larry Quitman Leslie (Morgan) of Horn Lake, MS and JR Leslie (Chelsea) of Enid, MS; sisters, Evelyn Gravitt of Sugar Valley, GA; Ann Bell of Olive Branch, MS; Rachel Ward of Eugene, OR; and Susie Harvell of Memphis, TN; brothers, Butch Ward of Middleton, TN; and Wiley "Skip" Ward of Olive Branch, MS; 3 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Randy Bence, Justin Bishop, Chris Carvan, Keith Leslie, Dane Richards and Rick Strian. Honorary pallbearers will be Homer Carvan and William Rice.
