Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 3/9/11, at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Shiloh Cemetery, Courtland, MS. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, 3/8/11, from 5-8 p.m. at Wells Funeral Home. Mrs. Campbell was born on April 18, 1930 in Pope, MS to Andrew Oliver & Addie Pearl Selby Wray. Her family established Wray's Chapel Church of God in Pope, MS where she was a member. Mrs. Joan enjoyed gardening, reading and loved to play Scrabble. Mrs. Campbell was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Robert F. Cambpell of Pope, MS; 4 daughters, Sherry Campbell Martin (Darrell), of Water Valley, MS, Nancy Campbell Major (The late Alvie)of Batesville, MS, Jill Campbell Addington (Mike) of Courtland, MS, Peggy Campbell Lott (Dennis) of Batesville, MS; 3 sons, Mike Campbell (Brenda) of Pope, MS, Steve Campbell of Pope, MS, Tim "Sparky" Campbell (Courtney) of Pope; sister, Imogene Wray Williford of Pope, MS; 2 brothers, Norris Wray of Batesville and Reed Wray of Little Rock, AR; 10 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren. Pallbearers will be the grandsons.
