Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Greg Hurt officiating. Interment to follow at Senatobia Memorial Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation will be 12-2:00 PM Wedneday at Wells Funeral Home. Mr. Lambert was born May 11, 1925 in Parks Place, MS to the late Monte Clayton and Winnie Lambert. He served his country in the United States Army during WW II and later served his county for 21 years as Constable and Deputy Sheriff. Mr. Lambert loved his country, family and church. He also was an excellent gardener, having grown some of the largest vegatables in the county. Mr. Lambert is survived by his wife, Norma Lambert of Como, MS: daughter, Michelle Lambert of Senatobia, MS; son, Billy Lambert of Batesville, MS; sisters, Louise Brewer Roach of Sardis, MS; & Mildred Frances of Wilmington, DE; brothers, Ed Lambert of Como, MS and Monte Lambert of Jackson, MS; 6 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, and 3 Great Great Grandchildlren. Pallbearers will be Dennis Lambert, Tyler Hardin, Blake Moorehead, Scotty King, Jr., Scotty King, Sr. and Nick Walton.
