Baker L. Turner

Baker Levi Turner age 92, widower of Lucy Seale Flemings Turner, died Friday morning 1/11/2011 at his residence in Batesville, Ms.. Services will be 2:00 PM Sunday 2/13/11 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Pat Ludlam officiating. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will start at 1:00 PM Sunday 1/13/11 one hour before service. Mr. Turner was born January 17, 1919 in Osceola, AR to Baker Levi and Alma Board Turner. Baker was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Batesville, MS and Batesville Masonic Lodge. Mr. Turner served his country in the United States Army during WWII. Survivors include 2 sons, William R. Fleming of Batesville, MS; Max Baker Turner of Indianapolis, IN; four grandchildren and two great grand grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ken Williams, James Weaver, Scott Harrison, Dennis Lott, Ron Cox, and Charlie Overton. Honorary pallbearers will be Batesville Masonic Lodge.
