Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Truman Scarborough officiating. Burial will follow at Longtown Cemetery in Crenshaw, MS. Visitation will be held from noon until service time on Tuesday at Wells Funeral Home. "Bill" was born on May 3, 1922 in Batesville, MS to Emmitt I. and Alvah B. Butts Roberson. She was a homemaker and member of Enon Baptist Church in Batesville, MS. Survivors include, 2 sons: Joe Roberson Meurrier of Batesville, MS and Floyd "Bubba" Meurrier of New York, NY, 2 Grandchildren & 2 Great-Grandchildren. Memorials may be sent to Enon Baptist Church, 7216 Dummy Line Rd, Batesville, MS 38606 Honorary pallbearers will be Hosey White, Dave Colson, Bubba Gray, Garry Cannon, Heath Cannon, Idell Watts, Ruby Bolen, Reiko Wilson, Chuck Wilson, Tommy Hudson and Hazel Hudson.
