Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 3, 2011 at First Baptist Church, Batesville, MS with Dr. Tommy Snyder officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be held from 10:00-12:00 Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011 at Wells Funeral Home and then from 1:00 p.m. until service time at First Baptist Church. William was born on August 31, 1930 in Kosciusko, MS to Ola Eugenia Kennedy & William Riley, Sr. Mr. Riley was the owner of Quality Auto Parts in Batesville, MS for over 40 years. He also served his country in the United States Navy. Mr. Riley was a member of the First Baptist Church in Batesville. Survivors include, his wife, Barbara Ann White Riley of Batesville, MS; daughter, Polly Riley Sorrells of Southaven, MS; son, William Ross "Wally" Riley of Batesville, MS; 2 Sisters, Christine Crain (Harold) of Jackson, MS and Jo Avritt (Freddie) of Shaw, MS; Brother: Johnny Riley (Flo) of Kosciusko, MS; Grandson, Justin Sorrells of Southaven, MS and Brad Sorrells (Emeri) of Memphis, TN; Great Granddaughter, Emerson Grace Sorrells of Memphis, TN.
