Funeral services will be 1:00 O'clock PM Sunday 1/2/11 at Davis Chapel United Methodist Church in Sardis, MS with the Reverend Dayna Goff officiating. Interment will follow in Davis Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Wells Funeral Home of Batesville, MS. Visitation will be 12:00 O'clock pm until service time at 1:00 O'clock pm 1/2/11 at Davis Chapel United Methodist Church. Mr. Ladd was born April 4, 1957 at Edwards Air Force Base in California to Raymond Earl and Loretta Gail Ladd. Michael was self-employed in construction. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Como, MS. He loved hunting and fishing. Michael is survived by his Parents: Raymond E. & Carolyn Baker Ladd- Como, MS; 3 Sisters: Donna Ladd Allen- Hernando, MS, Vicki Ladd Wood- Coldwater. MS, Carole Ladd Spencer- Southaven, MS; 2 Brothers: Ray E. Ladd, Jr.- Como, MS, Joe Mathis- Visalia, CA. Michael was preceded in death by his mother Loretta Gail Ladd. Pallbearers are Lee Allen, Andrew Allen, Richard Allen, Trey Spencer, Robert Wood and Bob Grisham.
